Grace and Frankie- Season 1, Episode 1- Lenox Bouvier

Grace and Frankie  | Season 1, Episode 1

Named after one of America’s most elegant First Ladies,  this china carries the unrivaled style, class, and unflappability characteristic of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis née Bouvier.  Jane Fonda’s character, Grace, comports herself similarly in this fabulous Netflix Dramedy. In the first episode, Grace’s husband comes out of the closet and declares his love for his long time best friend and business partner Sol. Grace longs for one last brunch as a family before her entire world crumbles apart, but her daughters, having already heard the news, rush in demanding all of the details.

The brunch table is set with the Bouvier china, and additional pieces can be seen in the built-in hutch to the left of the fireplace. The Bouvier pattern features blooms with bright florals and delicate tendrils of buds and leaves accented with shimmering mica and a platinum trim.  We can imagine Grace selecting this pattern in her role as First Lady of the Hanson Household. On the table, you will also find pieces of Lenox Republic interspersed amongst the china which you can read about in more detail here.
