In the 4th (and final?!?) episode of Amy Schumer Learns to Cook, Amy teaches us to make Hot Toddys. This drink is warmth and comfort in a mug – and we could all use a bit of comfort right now.
The recipe for a Hot Toddy’s is simple, place 1 shot of bourbon or scotch, juice from half a lemon, 1 teaspoon of honey, and a cinnamon stick (or sprig, as Amy calls it) into a mug. Fill mug with hot water, stir, and enjoy!
The mugs used for the drinks are Bennington Potters Agate Blue mugs. Bennington Potters is a New England tradition – making handmade stoneware pottery since 1948. Bennington has potters working in their pottery works 6 days a week, and you can take a tour and watch the potters work (you can also take tours on Sundays, but there will be no potters working).
Amy Schumer Learns to Cook may have wrapped up filming, but we haven’t wrapped up looking at the eclectic dishes that fill Amy and Chris’ home in Martha’s Vineyard, MA.
