This McCoy Pink & Blue Stripes Mixing Bowl is the hardest working member of the Sheffield household. Whether it is sitting on a shelf in the living room, holding fruit in the butler’s pantry, serving popcorn to the family, or being used for baking cookies in the kitchen, this bowl seems to be the family favorite.
McCoy Pottery was founded in Roseville, Ohio in 1910. The company survived the Great Depression, World War II (contributing to war efforts by producing clay land mines), and changing styles of the 1960’s and 1970’s. However, in 1990, due to declining sales, the company ceased operation. McCoy pottery continues to be a favorite among collectors today.
