This episode of 9-1-1 is sure to give your tear ducts a workout. From a military family reunion to a Christmas miracle to wishes to Santa being fulfilled, this episode is full of holiday joy.
Near the end of the episode, the members of LAFD Station 118 gather together for Christmas dinner at Athena’s house.
Though the holiday table is only shown for a few brief seconds, we have to give props to the prop department. Not only did they set a gorgeous table, but they didn’t scrimp on the accessories. Butter dish, creamer, salt and pepper shakers – the works! Most of the tablescape is done with Tracy Porter Winterland dishes – with the exception of the platter and covered butter dish. (Though almost impossible to be sure – the shape, size, and bright gold trim of the platter looks to be the 19″ Oval Platter in the Twas the Night Before Christmas pattern by Williams-Sonoma.)
What makes this scene even more charming is the idea that tough-as-nails Athena has a set of Christmas china. This shows her softer side. The holiday spirit is alive and well in the Grant house.
