The Ranch- Season 1- Episode 1- Pfaltzgraff Folk Art

The Ranch  | Season 1, Episode 1

#MoshiMonday features a new Netflix Original Series sitcom: The Ranch.

The Ranch, featuring heartthrob Ashton Kutcher and America’s favorite cowboy, Sam Elliot, tells the story of the wanderlust, prodigal son Colt Bennett (Kutcher) returning home to his family’s ranch.  Colt’s father, Beau Bennett (Elliot), represents the stereotypical, “old school”, “pull yourself up by the bootstraps”, “no fussin'” kind of guy; a personality that clashes with his son’s goofiness and dreams of becoming a professional football player.

Throughout the first episode, viewers are welcomed into a classic, blue collar home featuring an old potbelly stove in the corner of the kitchen, a creaky, wooden staircase, an old gun cabinet, and of course, countryside-inspired dishware! Pfaltzgraff’s Folk Art fits perfectly into the family’s ranch house as it boasts a pattern fit for another era, similar to the Bennett family themselves. This traditional, American-made pattern, features durable stoneware and the recognizable blue Folk Art design. Throughout the episode we see Folk Art cups, cereal bowls, dinner plate (in drying rack), and salad plates (in cabinet).
