On this day, the last day of football of the 2017-18 football season, we celebrate with Jerry Maguire. This is a movie about football, agents, values, and yes, romance.

Sports agent Jerry Maguire is on top of the world. He has the best clients, works at the best agency, and sleeps with the best women. Until one day, he has an epiphany, which changes how he thinks the agency should work. This leads to him being promptly fired from his job. As he leaves, he takes with him moony-eyed Dorothy Boyd (Renée Zellweger) to be his assistant.

Jerry shows up drunk at Dorothy’s house. Dorothy’s sister, Laurel, questions Dorothy’s choice to hitch her cart to Jerry’s wagon. While they argue in the kitchen, we can see Franciscan Apple dishes in the kitchen cabinets. Dorothy then brings drunk Jerry some food on the same Franciscan Apple dishes.
